All of the RBA seminars and workshops can be tailored to meet your organisation's specific needs. Courses can be held on your own premises (if you have the necessary equipment already installed) or we can organise off-site facilities.

Subjects covered include: business information; market research; search strategies; Web 2.0 and social media in the workplace; introduction to mashups; and getting started with Twitter.

Courses offered by other organisations

You may also be interested in courses organised by UKeiG. These cover a wide range of subjects relating to electronic information, are reasonably priced and often held outside of London. Many include practical sessions.

Also in the North-West of England is NoWAL (North West Academic Libraries). NoWAL runs a regular training and development programme and courses are open to those who work outside of NoWAL.

CILIP (Chartered Institute of Library and Information Professionals) and its Branches and Special Interest Groups offer workshops and seminars around the country. Prices vary and some events are free to members. A calendar of events is available on the CILIP web site.

TFPL provide training courses at all levels on a wide range of information related topics.
