Agent Ransack is a free tool for finding files and information on your hard drive. It does what the Windows Search should do but doesn't! With Agent Ransack you can search by file name or look for text inside files on any area of your hard drive. Agent Ransack "does not consider any file too small or insignificant to examine".

DUN Manager enables single click start-up and hang-up of a dial-up networking connection from an icon in the Windows system tray and monitors the call status of up to nine simultaneous connections. The user can redial if the initial connection speed is poor, or alternate numbers/ISPs can be automatically dialled if busy. A session log keeps details of calls including cost, ISP usage and data volumes. DUN Manager also has a spam processing option.

TweakUI. Reviewed September 2002, Issue No.35
TweakI is part of Microsoft's Powertoys suite and enables you to quickly customise many aspects of the Windows interface. You can change menu animation, menu fading, toggle on/off the "beep on errors", change your mouse sensitivity, remove the arrows from your desktop icons and choose whether or not to prefix new shortcuts with "Shortcut to". TweakUIs are version specific so you must make sure that you have the one that is appropriate for your operating system.
