I'm a part of a new one that's just launched called The UK's Best - it aims to list the best companies throughout the UK (by counties, towns/cities and industries) and orders all search results by the rating companies have received from their customers, so that it can be seen who actually is the best, rather than the companies with the biggest advertising budgets. It's free to join so I'd encourage any business owners to sign up and promote their business <a href="http://www.theuksbest.co.uk" title="Small business UK directory" rel="nofollow">UK small business directory</a> - your support would be appreciated.
